Police

The Berlin Heights Police Department is comprised of the chief and five officers. We do not have an on site dispatcher. Our department has contracted dispatching services with North Central Emergency Services in Milan, Ohio.

We pride ourselves on being a community oriented police department. Our department serves the people of our community by providing residence checks when residents are on vacation, business checks and bank escorts for local businesses. We sponsor along with Berlin Elementary School a Safety Town each summer for the children entering Kindergarten. We also provide child finger printing for identification purposes.

Our officers attend yearly training to stay up to date on the changing demographics in the law enforcement comunity. The Berlin Heights Police Department has a reputation among those in law enforcement as a good start for many of our officers. Some of our officers have gone on to work for the Sheriff's Department, Ohio State Patrol, Sandusky Police Department, Huron Police Department, and the Secret Service to name just a few.
